Multi species day on Quinte

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hello,
I have been in Bay of Quinte a few times and i normally just fish at the buoy Q55...So where did you fish in Bay of Quinte?Let me know if you dont mind to share...I hardly catch bass there, walleye is odd...just silver bass and perch are the most...
Thanks in advance

Hi Badger Shark - Good report and update on BOQ - I love that place. Your biggest sheephead looks very similar to one my friend Joe caught opening week this May. We weighed his and it was 9 1/2 lbs, his biggest fish to date. Took him a while to boat it too as he was only using light spinning tackle.

Erie the first sheephead in the pics was around 10lbs, the biggie was with many estimations between 16 and 18 lbs. It was just huge, remember I am 220lbs and the pic doesnt due it justice. Wish I had weighed it but after fighting it for so long I just wanted to make sure it swam away, besides the damn thing was heavy and awkward to hold.
