This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Congratulations to the entire team on that one. Great job on the net, getting the anchor down and yep great job with the rod Tyler. You are a member of the best club there is. The family that fishes together club. Memories for all for a lifetime. The best trophies are the ones that have been released back into the water to live another day. Oh, one last thing. That is the best use of a camera phone that I have seen to date. 6+lbs. easy!!!

Wow, incredible fish. Nickle plus for sure.

In addition to those carrots for super vision, your kids must be eating their spinach for the super strength needed to reel in the monster fish.

Congrats Tyler (and crew too)

Yeah I agree with all on this...the way Tyler is struggling to hold that Hawg and the size compared to the dogs head I would say way over 5+lbs....Sure beats my biggest of 4.6lbs...Great work Tyler and give your brother and mom a big High 5 for the team effort...I bet you still have a smile on your face 8)

And RJ...I think you are right as well...This is for sure the best fish posted this year on FH

Tyler, be proud. VERY PROUD! that is a great accomplishment. Five? At least! Six? Very possibly.

Amazing!

Next person who shows a five that looks like a 3, we'll point to this fish and show thats what a monster bass looks like!!!!!

Again, beautiful!

Hi Guys. Thanks for all the nice comments and your opinions on the fish's weight. It was fun to read them this morning with my Mom & Shane.

I am so psyched -- I was shaking for at least a 1/2 hour after I caught that fish -- and feel that I have set a record for myself. It's my definite personal best!

My goal is to top it some day. :D :D :!: :!:

Now it's time to look for that XXL pike, smallmouth and walleye.

Thx again. It meant a lot to me to read your replies because it's a once-in-a-lifetime chance (maybe 8) to share a fish like that with you guys.
