Gananoque and Loughborough Lake Boat Ramp?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Gananoque and Loughborough Lake Boat Ramp?

Post by steve-hamilton »

Hello Folks.

Spending a week in the dog lake/cranberry lake/gananoque lake/loughborough lake area coming up, and was wondering if anyone had directions to a boat ramp (doesn't matter the condition, i can launch in anything) on Gananoque Lake and Loughborough Lake.

Thanks,

Steve

Anyone have directions to boat ramp, or ADVICE on whether to check that lake out or not.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

For Gananoque Lake, USED to be able to launch for a fee at Tedfords, give them a call to confirm this is still the case. 1-613-382-2718

For Dog Lake, I use the the Shipyards launch (public) east of Battersea

For Loughborough, take Division St north until you reach the lake, public launch is on SW side of bridge.

For Lower Beverly Lake there are three free ramps that I know of,
There is a ramp just as you go over the old stone bridge in Lynhurst with parking, but you would need to go through the river to get to the lake Its not to long. There is another one right beside Kendricks Park it is small but a good ramp it is hard to see if you don't know where it is, To get to Kendricks Park you take the Short Point Rd which is just before the Old Stone Bridge

The other ramp which might be the one you want to use is right in Delta right at the Delta park lots of parking nice creek to go through around the park and then it puts you well into the lake. And if you want to go into Upper Beverly Lake it is right there also, not sure where the ramp is for that one.
Hope this helps

Does anyone have any reccomendations on which lake(s) to concentrate on for larger pike or walleye in this area? We will be fishing this region heavily for about 10 days and will post any pics. and if on how we do. Thanks...Jesse
