You know Drew...I had read the article ( better than a report ) and had to stop and daydream a bit...then I had to go back and read it all again to be able to take in all of the splendor of the pics...They say a picture is worth a thousand words..well yours ring true my friend. As others have said, this is a dream trip for me but I will be able to go in 3 yrs time as I will be going up there for my three year get away. Every three years I get to get away and enjoy myself...Well this is my trip I hope.
Thanks for ruining my day by filling my head with those images

Bunk,
So again I had to read this magnificent trip report in chapters...between kids homework, election speeches, work, and chores. Took that long...and it was a pleasure as always.
I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful fish than the Arctic Chars you displayed here. Bren's fish was an incredible specimen; the story behind it had me wondering if she'd ever land it...glad she did!
So the weather seemed like the temps were all over the place, but it didn't seem like you had the wind like your last trip where it was gale force all the time. Is that a function of latitude or just luck that time of the year.
So PM me what a trip like that might cost. Very curious and interested. I'd always thought Alaska would be the trip of a lifetime. Hmmm, might have to reconsider.
Tight Lines...so what's next!?

Some people would think I need to learn to fish... for myself now.
I'm hoping fall water levels rise so I can go chase pike and eyes. I got about 12 days fishing in on the soft water season on the home waters, but that was May and early June, since then pretty much away. I can feel the fall rains coming.
For trips.... I have no idea.

'Bunk...
Firstly, damn you, because I did NOT have time to read that incredible report, but did anyway. Now I am behind in my afternoon.
Secondly, all I can think to say after viewing those stunning landscapes and equally gorgeous char pictures is "Big Bang Theory: NOT!" Man, does that stuff just reinforce how great God is.
I had no idea how magnificent char were. The colors, patterns and that crisp white stripe on the fins....awesome.
Back to a housewife's life...kids home from school soon...but today I got to do a little fancy traveling and fishing with Mr. & Mrs. 'Bunk.
THANKS for the amazing read! Ya gotta get some of those char pic's in a mag, or even the gargantuan lakers.
WTG Brenda on giving your hubby a run for his money.
