This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Looks like things are starting to heat up

Was at Manotick Bait and was told there were several people gearing up for the big ones and today at Bits and Baits who other than Bear and his dad were there with big baits in hand.

Looks like it is going to be a great day on the water with some big baits being tossed/trolled around

Let's hope the big girls are turned on for this.

Just a reminder for everyone

Show up at Broadways and you get a raffle ticket for a prize......and for every pike/musky you catch, regardless of size, you get another raffle ticket for a prize so perhaps that 20 inch snot rocket could pay off for you.

Up for grabs so far is/are

A trophy and a Mr.J. Special for biggest musky

A trophy and a Mr.J. Special for biggest pike

So far I have in my hands for raffle prizes generously donated are

$50 in gift certificates redeemable at Manotick Bait

2 musky lures donated from Bits and Baits

If I win either biggest pike or musky I will put the lure(s) that would have gone to the winner into the raffle.

Looks like we may better the 17 anglers we had last year. :D
