Catch and release...who needs it?

It looks like they are in the clear... they are showing a total of 50 - 49 on the string and 1 in hand.

I will get off my high horse starting.......................... NOW!

White bass will take over a lake. They are quite prolific. It was once thought that white bass and stripers bred only in saltwater.

Lakes were stocked as a put and take fishery and to control panfish.

So that stocking them in a freshwater lake would be a way to control panfish,

Apparently they biologists were wrong and the whites and stripers took over many lakes.

That is why they can catch limits of 50 or more and not worry about it.
