Black Creek, Port Dover - May 16th

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Black Creek, Port Dover - May 16th

Post by BBRich »

Went up and fished Black Creek yesterday from shore for a couple of hours, just to pass the time a little with the girlfriend. Well first I hooked into some tiny bullheads (all on worms), then a nice 8lb carp which I landed and took a quick pic of. Later on after several more tiny cats and some bluegill, I caught a beautiful 4lb channel cat, which I released. All in all for a couple hours it was some pretty good fishing, missed lots of fish and had a big carp on but lost it. I will post pics as soon as they are developed.

I can't wait to start cat fishing. There's a few being caught in the local hot spots now, so hopefully this week!

Can't wait to see your pics Rich.
