Quick question, thought I would ask here rather than Google-ing for a while.
When does trout season open on the streams near/in Tremblant? Are there any rivers with exceptions?

Not sure if its still open but I just got back from 7 days of fishing the Tremblant area..
If you're thinking about heading to the Diable it is fishing very well if you are willing to do some wading. Mostly browns in the fast deep pockets and brookies in the slower water. Don't expect anything over 12 inches though. Apparantly all the fish get washed down in the spring/winter when the water is high and there are very few holdovers. I wont be going back there for a while, I heard it can be fun in the evening though.
BTW- If youre heading down to that area, a friend of mine Ivo Balinov will be doing a czech nymphing course there in a couple of weeks. Hes one of the best nymph fishermen in canada and a great teacher if anyones interested he is running his course through the Tremblant Fly Shop.
