Ice fishing and Drinking

wow.

ice fishing is fun and a good place to be in familly or in a group.

yes some poeple are loud or bad wit to mutch beer in them..but its the same in boats or at the beach no worst.

i dont drink but do go ice fish wit some that do and there as quiet then all others..

i dont think there anything wrong drinking beer on ice myself..if you control yourself...not like 3 or 4 beer in 12 hours on the ice that realy bad come on... .

i see some people that do get a beer or t two at some get togethers..and people are still a lot off fun and not loud...so not worst then sit in a ice shak.

moderation is the key word here.

and some dont have it anywhere ice or land...

i see dronk people at some hunting outhing..this is a lot worst..and my father saw a guy get shot in front off him ..drop dead right there.. by a realy drunk hunter that came out off the bar to go hide in the bush..said he taught it was a deer... ..he was extremely drunk...this is dangerous.

some are realy drunk in boats and drive like crazzy..this is dangerous.

2 or 3 beer and sit on a white bucket on ice........mmmmmm relaxing.. .

but law is law and as to be followed.

I say from a distance, because I seek the out-of-doors to watch idiots on ice.

I guess in your opinion anyone who has a beer or 2 while enjoying a day on the ice is an idiot???

I for one have gone out with some friends (kids and dog included) and have had hot dogs and beans , sometimes other food and a couple beers and everyone has fun.

Not too many people here hurting or violating anyone

Stay home. Grab a lawn chair go out into the back yard with your 24 and drink. If it makes you feel better set up a tip up

So staying home and getting drunk is better than some sunshine, fresh air and fish????

but i saw some ice derby where people were dronk. and not pretty site at all.


i got a little anecdot and one fellow here no what i am talking about.

here it goes.

about 3 winters ago..there was an ice derby..and we are all there fishing on ice having fun no drinking..for must off us. ,,but some like me and one off my friend did not drank..he is a COP. that is work.

so there is some people that are driving on ice and have berer betwen the legs and some have beers while driving ski-doo and 4 weeler..

but the worst and pure truth.

2 woman.are in a van driving around selling some shoters..trullly there selling shoters on ice.while driving.. and the driver..is having the bottoe betwen the legs ..and take some shoters fir herself and then some for customer.how bad tis is.wow.

so my budy come to the van to see if they have coffe or hor cholcolate and that woman ask him if he wants a shoooter..... ..and he take is police batch out.... .outch.....just ask her to walk back where she is frome and to get someone ho as not drank to came back to get the van....could have been a lot worst for her.she was crying liie hell.and just drop jaw face wen she saw the batch,,

mabe he should have been harder on her..but we saw where she was frome on ice and was not driving more then 2kmh just idling but even..it would have cost her a couple $ and it would have been her own fals,

that was just pure stupid off her.

so yes there that type off person on ice to..i see them all the time atice derbys...and sadly worst on the qc side....becasue law for drinking on water is deferent in qc.

I am pretty sure you could be tagged with Drinking out of Residence.

Depending how many you have there would be impaired driving.

Just think if MNR or OPP check you on the ice, see that you have had only one or two, think they might be waiting for you to get in your vehicle later?
Also drinking in the cold, then you get into a nice warm car/truck.
Nap time !!!
Leave the booze at home. Just not worth it. Family, penalties.

Theres nothing wrong with having a couple of pints while enjoying an afternoon on the ice, not ever getting impaired, not bothering anybody, driving home as you are not impaired legally or otherwise.

Some people are really sensitive to this issue
