ice fishing flasher.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I more than tripled my amount of fish caught when I first bought my FL-8. The FL-8 was perfect for any suspended fish but I needed one that could separate a walleye from the bottom. So I upgraded to an FL-18 with the bottom Zoom the next year. I have the dual freq. transducer on it and it is all I need for fishing.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

Joco, I bought a Marcum LX-5 last year. Works great in that it shows you exactly what you are fishing. Unfortunately, it was a rare occasion that I actually got on fish last winter so it did not increase my catch-rate. I do love the unit though. Does everything the websites I read said it would do. Got mine on ebay.

I've Got a Marcum LX5...
it rocks..., nothing bad to say about it...

all in all they call help catch fish
i wasn't brand conscience when i bought mine...
didn't care which i bought, just wanted the best one...

dollar for dollar the lx5 won... wattage, adj. zoom, case, more interference rejection, dual cones, no s cable, digital battery meter and less $$...

it's like ford vs chevy vs dodge... the war will never end
