A real beauty! Great skill to land her! About those lippers. Do they harm the fish when you lift it out of the water?

I don't use the grippers to pull the fish out out of the water....I find that tool helps sometimes when I need to open the mouth somewhat...I use my left hand it to keep it open while I'm kneeling on the net and using my right hand to either cut or remove the hooks, depending on how's she's hooked...

TMH do you have spreaders also. I would use those if needed. haven't needed them yet.
