Who Ice fishes and what species??

Just thought I would throw this out there for a fun post...I think we need some...

Anyway Just like the Title say's.

For me I love ice fishing and my primary species is trout. I also love fishing Mississippi Lake cause you never know what will be on the end of that line

.

Last question: Do you fish in a shack, clam etc or just straight out on the ice??

Well iv'e never been ice fishing before, but iv'e bought all my gear, and this is going to be my first year

.

Main specie might be panfish, and secondary will probably be walleye.

Petrie island!

I do not own a shack, but i happen to know someone who owns one, so i'll be fishing from that shack

It's a clam, fish trap guide.

And i cant wait for first ice!!!

LOVE ice fishing this year its jigging power...

concentrating on the techniques and will try many lures on many bodies of water for many types of species....

you cant beat getting a beast on ice.....

OH YEAH and trying to remmember how deep im fishing in!

I love ice fishing.

i use to have those fish trap..but sold it..did not use it..dont care froze my butt on a bucket..

crappy/walleye/pike.

this year i want to target way more whitefish in some northern lake.

cant......wait.....

I fish for anything come winter time but tend to concentrate on 'eyes and crappie... want to target lakers more this year and finally tackle some Quebec smallies now that I'm licensed in La Belle Province. The gear I use: Fish Trap Pro, Marcum flasher, and Jiffy auger. I fish alot on the Ottawa as well as a few other lakes in SE Ontario. Bring on the hard shtuff!

Love my ice fishing too, mostly eyes and crappie for me.

As a side note and not to generate to much excitement here but I was out duck hunting Sunday morning and had to break through some ice in the back bays of the river......sure surprised me in the dark

My name is Andrew Cameron A.K.A. Tip-up/Tip/Tippy and I am a ice fishing addict.

Once things get firmed up I will mostly concentrating on fishing walleyes and crappies as well as the weekely trout tips that I have started a love for.

I spend 70% fishing on Ontario while the other 30% is in Quebec. Fished a lot of new waters in both provinces this season and have marked a lot of high percentage areas.

I fish from a Fish-Trap and prefer them over other shacks for many reasons although there are a whack load of new portables out this year that are look really well and are just as funtionable. I am happy with what I have now and have no need to upgrade this year...I don't mind fishing out on the ice without the hut but I do prefer to be around others. It's my time once flipped

I now realized there is no cure for this.

Crappies and walleyes for me. Concentrating more on jumbo perch this year for sure though.

Fish every free moment....no hut or shelter of any kind for this cat....panfish are king.

me I just loved to ice fish. I mostly fish for perch, crappy, walleyes, and pike. But this year I want to go for some trout also and fish some body of water in Quebec. zI got Viking portable shack and I just love in it and a Marcum LX-3 flasher and I cant go with ou it. I just cant wait for 1rst ice. Soon.
