Sometimes the salt from under our vehicles fall's off with mild weather. This will weaken the ice around our vehicles, causing it to fall through the ice.
Too many holes in an area will weaken the ice as well.
The cause's of vehicles going through the ice is endless.
Best bet is to leave trucks and cars on shore.

If you have comprehensive coverage on your vehicle it is covered. We took one out last year and two the year before and they cost us around $20,000-$25,000 to do it. Ask one of the members on here about getting a vehicle out of a lakePriorguy wrote:No way it was a FORD... bet the guy's wife was impressed.. or depressed. Now I am curious.. is this something that is covered under insurance?
