Kids steal the show ...Big smiles all around !!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Kids steal the show ...Big smiles all around !!!!!

Well Folks...
Last saturday Buddy of mine invited 24/7 and I out to his cottage for some outdoor activities ...Ski-dooing / Ice fishing etc etc..

On the way in to the his place I took a couple of Nature shots .

Later on in the afternoon 24/7 head out and got things set up on the ice

The Pike were on BIG TIME ........

Along with the Smallies...

But the real Highlight of the day was when Buddy shows up with his kids and their friends

And not being a hardwater fisherman , He wanted us to introduce his kids to Ice fishing...

A hour or two went by , before any tip-ups went down but when the first one did , 24/7 coached little johnny to bring in his first Bass 8)

Then it was his daughter's turn , with the catch of the Day....
When she got the pike to the hole and seen the size of the head she screamed and what do you know the pike stormed right out on to the ice
8) :D This pike had to go 13lbs or more..

It was a cool but awesome day to be outdoors...Smiles all around

Holy smokes guys, those are some nice pike! Could have sworn I seen this posted somewhere else not too long ago :) My guess is the big pike is around 10lbs or so, no way to tell for sure though. You guys should bring a measurng device and scale with you on these trips or should I say outing.

Good fishing

-Andrew

Thanks for the report and all the great nature pics.

Nothing like kids and fishing.

It seems to put everything in perspective.

there expression realy made my day!

the girl in the pink outfit usualy swims in that lake and after seeing what was ACTUALY swimming in these waters....... made her think twice about swimming...........

but after explainning to her that fish get SCARED of humans and that they flee US! she came to her senses ! :D

at one point i brought my line in and there was a dead minnow rigged and she screemed YOU GOT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!

i said NO NO NO that the LURE! she said that CRUEL!! :? :? 8)

KIDS will be KIDS! heck i still consider myself a ''KID'' in my mind! :D

i recommend the newer model but if you're trying to save some cash the '05 is the best bet.

try the golden shiners and then the cheetos, poutine or player's light.

Stick with what you know.
