Where can I ice fish for trout that has easy access

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hi Brant. I have not explored many "trout" lakes in the Calabogie area, actually, only two and have never hooked one. I have had some f-h'ers provide assistance (thanks guys) but the best resource is to call Kemptville MNR and have them email you the stocking list each year and buy one of those Back Country Fishing books for this area. They are available at most C-tires and at World of Maps or probably most local fishing shops. Cross reference the stocking list with the map book, pick an lake and head out. Like I said, I would love to catch a few but the reality is for me, I am lucky to just get out for an afternoon with the wife and two young boys at home. Hope this helps.
