This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Anyone else notice that G Loomis doesn't list Muskie rods on its website anymore?

The Muskie lineup is revamped for 2009, so I would figure they are updating the website details.

For a sneak-peek of the new rods you can read the following article from iCast 2008 posted on TackleTour website, the muskie information starts just above the third picture from the bottom.

g loomis

I make custom rods using g loomis blanks and I can still get blanks for their muskie rods, so I think even if they change their rods the blanks are still available.

I made 4 costom g loomis rods last summer. A FS 904  flippin stick in IMX, a CB 783 jerk bait in GL3, :D a CB 844 spinnerbait rod in GL3 :D and a MB 845 worm rod. :D I used theese 4 rods the majority of my fishing time last summer. Sometimes all I would use was one rod. The jerk bait rod opened a whole new avenue to my techniques and meant more fish ibn the boat, especially smallies in the fall. I think I got 20 back to back one day off a hump....

Anyway I have listing for loomis muskie rods and as of to-day I can still get them.

Now loomis in canada is different because it is all handled by shimano and I have already seen a difference in service :(

If you are looking for more info pm me but I can't see them droppping their muskie line....

I will say this, a loomis blank with titanium guides and a few extras, rattlesnake skin inlay and custom handles, to personelise the rod makes a really good rod even better and well worth the price.
