Yikes - Radiation

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

A couple of close calls.....read up on the history of AECL.

My father was part of the cleanup crew in 1958, as part of a military contingent that went in and cleaned up the mess there. Thankfully he is still alive, which is more than I can say for others. And it is only in the last year that the Government has been getting things done regarding paperwork from that time. Start questioning the Government that people elect (I don't vote, never will, politicians are more criminal than you know) as to why it has taken 50 plus years to answer questions about what goes on in our Nuclear facilities in Canada, not just Chalk River, but Darlington, Bruce, etc....

You might as well read the National Enquirer, you'll get the same amount of truth out of it as you get from the media and politicians...

I would thinf the first two places to look for rads in the sewer system would be MDS NORDION, or the cancer clinics using radioactive isotopes for treatment. Some one is disposing of this stuff down the drain somewhere!

CBC was saying this am that the source of radiation was medical isotopes.
Most likely from urine of patients receiving treatment.

If that's the case that's alot of pee!

Not necessarily, the detectors at the US border are extremely sensitive.
