New pricing at Lebaron?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Picked up a new Curado 301 DSV for 190$ US. Could not get it anywhere near that in Canada. Was down there for a few days so no tax either. Only way to get a real deal i think....

You can count yourself lucky if they actually have something you want in stock... Sometimes they do... most times they don't.

And DO NOT buy a firearm from them. They will not provide any sort of good customer service on it. You're better off buying fom Cabela's or the US. And sadly, that is the truth.

Then I guess he was the exception...I shopped around (but not in Hamilton! - I live near Kingston) and could get nowhere near that price, hence buying in the U.S. when the opportunity arose....had I not been down there the purchase would still have been on hold. Will give him a call in the event I am looking for any other pricey items in the future, though a new flipping bass rod is on my shopping list...

Everyone is quick to bash LeBaron's. I to have had issues with them but it's always like that once in a while. Take Cabela's...my buddy and I went to Chicago for the Muskie show and decided to hit the Cabela's while we were there. I wanted to get a rod holder for the inside of my SUV. We stood there waiting for the sales guy to finish his conversation with his buddy. Just ignored us. So we moved to another guy, who pointed to another guy who was dusting. Told him what I wanted. Walked me around the store looking for it. Couldn't find it. Actually asked me if I though of just buying bungee cords to hold them. Laughed with my buddy and asked him to just check the system. Finally looked on the computer to see if they had any. 2 in stock. Told me they probably didn't have any. I left. Sometimes you get service, most times you don't. That's retail in a large store. The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

i had a feeling you would toob.

if my local shop had 'em for a good deal, i'm sure you would have as well...

remember folks, the local shops have good prices as well. 8)

I've picked up the new CU201E7, the CU301E, and the DSV201 all for $200 taxes in (each). Might have saved a buck or two elsewhere, but at least I know i'll have a smile waiting for me when i get to my local shop.
