We're going to live and die on Hay Bay..............
From the fishing activity that we encountered there on Saturday, we're goinna die out there - sans walleye..............
Laker John, BayBoy and myself fished about 500 yds from Perfect Vue in varying depths of water, to give us a better chance!!!!!
Fished from 1200 til 1700 and the total was about a dozen perch.
The weather was warm and the wind gusty and the snow was melting. Coming off the ice plowing thru the snow and sinking into the water above the ice made walking a chore.
That's what happened, we'll see if it freezes some more to keep trying.

My buddy has his shack out on Hay Bay (close to the church) and he's been complaining about the lack of eyes as well...he was out all day on Saturday and caught loads of perch and had a possible eye on which got off

It's almost a continuation from the slow fall bite most people experienced in 2008...
Best of luck and keep the reports coming
