I'm working evenings this week, so I decided at 8:00 this morning that I would try out my luck for a couple of hours. Well at 9:16, in 16 FOW this beauty smashed my jig. Again a beauty for the Ottawa. By seeing the color of this fish, you should be able to figure out where she was caught!!!
And Dan, no it's not the same fish again..
We didn't weigh the fish, but we both figure it was about 6.5lbs.
cheers,
Gil

all depends where you get on...But if you can find a trail, I suggest you go through there. There is a lot of snow in the hills.

I've already caught over 10 this winter that were over 6 lbs.
End of February should be even better. I just hope I have the time to keep going. I usually spend about 2 hours when I go.
Cheers.

You got it! But now with all this rain, the fishing is done for a while. We will have to wait until there's a least a good weeks freezing. Only then will the water clarity and current settle down.
