ice safety

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

ice seems to be pretty good still...'roads; and paths will have more water and there will be a decent amount of slush and water below the snow....Good luck!

It shouldn't be too bad this weekend....I was out last night and there was NO slush at all compared to a couple of days ago...also, you can walk on top of the snow now...

It's going down to -13C tonight and it will be windy....the only safety concerns to have is not to slip and break any bones this weekend......boot cleats will be coming out!!

No problem Paul.....I have a great tow strap that I'll be able to use to drag you around the ice behind my F-150

TnMH,

At least you don't have to flood the ice, nature took care of that pretty well these past two days. It must be perfectly smooth and great for skating.

Cheers,
Prairieboy
