ice fishing?
ice fishing?
I am planning to take the kids ice fishing this coming weekend, would like to go somewhere that I can drive to the lake/river and walk out and have a campfire, do some ice fishing and hopefully catch something. Haven't ice fished in Ontario before but from out east so I have done alot in the past. Any suggestions? Mississippi lake, Ottawa River (Shirley's bay), Constance Lake etc....
you can go to 2 places !
1= Oziles in the east end of Ottawa ! They have ice hut rentals and every thing you need to get started in the bait shop. They also have chips and drinks for when you get hungry. A new chipwagon came in this year and its fantastic. The huts are really nice and spacious youll have a blast.
2= Baitcasters on the Missisipi. They have rentals too. It's very fun as well.
