Lanark Brook Trout Feb. 22 - First Post

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Welcome aboard!

Great report, great pics, but next time you should take the guts out of the fish before you cook them.........

Good to see you got in to a few—hoep your son had a blast and great report. I found some pretty detailed maps and info on some lanark lakes but haven't hit any yet.

Thanks all for the warm welcome and comments of encouragement.

This was not the first time out for us and definitely not the last. I've had my two oldest out fishing in a boat a few times now and we have definitely had a good time, but getting out onto the ice does certainly provide them a bit more freedom to move around, so we'll be trying it again. Each season has its advantages, gotta try and enjoy them all...
