cant wait to hit victoria island.

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

the island is where you see the indian village...better for walleye there in that little bay on both side off the island.

Either license is good, it is in Zone 12 - Ottawa River!

We park In the parking lot that's beside the Heating plant. Along the bike path.

The only thing about fishing at lunch time is that the cats aren't biting at that time. But the scenery is probably better.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

The scenery is indeed nice.....
Most of the beautiful wildlife resides in the building I work in. :D
Building X...

So I guess its nighttime for the cats then.....

You go all the way to Vancouver Island for catfish?????

What about BC sturgeon, salmon, halibut ? Crabs and prawns.or deep sea fishing.

I just dont understand going there for catfish.
There's an island on the Ottawa River called Victoria Island. The Portage Bridge runs over top of it.
I am sorry but this made me laugh.

I'd like to try this spot this summer. Sounds like it could be a blast.

What street do you use to get to the parking lot?

so when's the earlilest that you hit Victoria island?

I'm getting anxious for some soft water, and that would really give me my fix (providing I catch something)
