Newbie here!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Newbie here!

Post by ninepointer »

After spending the last 7 years chasing after perch & pumkinseeds with my kids, I'm ready to start getting back into the game :D . I'll mostly be lurking, but will no doubt chime in with the occasional dumb question...

Cheers,
Ninepointer

Welcome Ninepointer, and as Joe said, don't be afraid to ask questions! Just don't fall prey to the GIANT PIKE hoax and post it as your 1st thread or you'll get a lambasting.

Seriously, welcome to our crew!

I'm fairly new here also... and new to fishing for anything besides rock bass/perch. I had only been fishing once before I met my boyfriend last year. Now I'm crazy. And you know what, it's true, there ARE no dumb questions, people here at Fish-Hawk are great, they will answer anything. The discussions are great. However little you know about it, they will always value your opinion but are NEVER shy to set you straight on some things lol. There is a lot to learn from a lot a really wise and knowledgeable people here and I hope you like it. I'm always looking for new friends to go fishing with so if you ever want to get out for a great day of fishing with my boyfriend and I (username jasonb) give one of us a PM. We go out like 3 times a week in the summer and are always looking for company!
