oh wow....blind river...again another excellent spot....i love that river....try following it behind idiot lake...lol...elliot lake....those lake back there r nuts used to bump into guys like izumi and other guys that i can remember there shows....they would drive so fast on those back roads so u couldnt follow them....they would destroy there vehicle so u couldnt keep up....what do they care gm will just send them another one...lol....but bud ur getting way close to the answer....so close

u seem to know those waters well...and yes by just naming all the spots down the 17 u will get it....so stop guessing and get some other ppl thinking......it should be easy now.....and u for an even better spot in blind river....the falls off the side of the 17 in the bends north of blind river....u need to be indian to fish there though....i just go with a friend witha status card

u trout guys r so wiery of everyone....when i thought of this post i new somebody was gonna say that....i know all the spots u mentioned...every piece of those rivers and shorline by memory...and u missed lots to....like chippeawa falls...pankcake river...batchawana just to name a few.....want more.....ANY RIVER FLOWING INTO A GREAT LAKE HAS TONS OF BOWS EXSPECIALLY LAKE SUPERIOR.....hard core trout guys get there limit in an hour....im not one of them....i suck at rainbow....so be nice.....


another hint....its not a river or river mouth

$200 will get you a good rod/reel and lots of lures to fish around Ottawa.

Petrie Island is a good producing spot.

Shiner Lake is a good trout lake that is close to Ottawa.

If we're heading all the way up there. Head to Manitoulin.....I've fished for steelies there on a variety of little creeks, the Kegawong, or in little current or swift current. If you want numbers, you can fish the north side of the island and catch copious amounts of escapees, if its native (oxymoron) rainbows you're looking for, head to the southside of the island.

Also, if you're from the soo, pancake bay or batchewana could be it.

for all u 4000 members now planning a trip to manatoulin island....fisher be warned....minimum of a 16ft and dress warm.....plan it right because a lot of days it to windy to go out....do not and i repeat do not go up there in a little tinny....weather patterns there change every 10 minutes
