Post by wacky jig »

do you have two batteries for your trolling motor and another one for your boat motor ? i know you can hook up your boat to one battery and still us it for your trolling motor to make 24 volts . just wondering what the nor is .trying to keep boat weight down and room is always great when your fishing buddy is a accident waiting to happen!!!!!!

The norm would be to have 2 deep cycle batteries dedicated to your trolling motor and 1 cranking battery for your outboard and electronics.
Be careful mixing deep cycle and cranking batteries in a series configuration. The charging method for these two types of batteries are different.
