Batteries?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Batteries?

Post by TrollingThunder »

With the Carp show fast approaching I've been looking for a battery. The battery would be for my new Minn Kota 46 lb thrust transom mounted motor. Any personal opinions of brands/sizes as well as rough estimates on prices would be greatly appreciated.

What was the amp*hour rating on that Walmart battery do you know? Surely that's not a 180 amp hour right? I just missed the "sale" on at costco that ended last weekend and now realize I need a new battery this year....
