New Lowrance HDS - Screen Images

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

is it possible to show us the shot of a spot we fish?

maybe the adolphustown reach?

or see what the niagara bar on lake ontario looks like?

i'd like to see the advantage in mapping....cause at $399 for the 510c or $439 for the 520c...those are some killer deals.

I don't have a unit with built in mapping. The HDS units with built-in mapping are the Insight models and cost more to purchase. The mapping screen shots you see is mapping data from the Lowrance NauticPath USA chip. I have two of these SD cards that I use for fishing tourneys in the USA. NauticPath USA

I plan on using the Navionics chips that I already own.

HDS-5X

Post by bigmac035 »

Hi. I have the head unit, an HDS-5X, and would like to find out where to get one of the 83/200 transducers. Anyone know of the part number, or a place to find the right one?? Thanks.
