Calabogie Lake on The Real Fishing Show

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Well, I guess I should be going then! Bob is a great guy. I have fished with him and against him. I have also cashed cheques on lakes that I had never previously fished.....so take that!

It was a great clip though and from what I see....even the camera man could do no wrong

It'st not a stretch that you could do better then Bob on your home lake, that might even be expected. Twenty years ago my partner and I beat Bob and Wayne in a tournament at Long Point, but over the course of three years of fishing against them you have to give em their due.
Bob doesn t win every time out but he is so consistant in every condition it really does point out how good an angler he really is.

Me thinks you fellers could use a hand and put this here dispute to rest. :)

I propose you each select a body of water (your choice) and proceed to fish it for one hour and we'll post the results back on fish-hawk. To ensure fair competition, I will accompany you as a sort of referee for this "Great Canadian 1-Hour Fishing Challenge". I'll provide the camera, tape measure, scale and GPS :? to ensure, if nothing else, that you are fishing a legal body of water. :D

If you feel that you could have been more successful at a different honey hole then by all means we could try a different location as well to a maximum of 10 of you best producing honey holes. :P

My thought of the day

Nope.....I have nothing to prove. I'm not the one claiming that I'm some great angler who could kick Izumi's butt if I had his time, money and gear.

even if you had the money.gear of izumi you strill couldnt do as good as him... nothing counts like hours spent on the water... and im sure bob izumi has put in many many more than you.
