Welcome aboard.
As for Wendover I have fished that area for years and have had great success with the walleye fishing. Yes you will lose some gear but I follow the rule that if you aren't getting snagged you aren't in the right place for jigging eyes. Bottom bouncing a spinner rig works well too.
Good luck.

I'm looking at the same boat for next year....I would like to hear what you think of it after a few outings....what kind of boat did you have before?WaRe wrote:Hi guys, thought I would say hello. I've been reading the forum for the last couple of weeks. I've been fishing for about 6 years now and I love it. Recently bought a Legend 151 Angler boat, and will be picking it up this week. Both my girlfriend and I are avid anglers. We are looking to do a lot of fishing this summer.
Thought I would say hello.

Before I had a 14ft aluminum with a 9.9 johnson. The engine got stolen and then I sold the boat. Im picking the boat up this week or early next week. You are welcome to go fishing with me sometime and get a feel of the boat.marcthefisherman wrote:I'm looking at the same boat for next year....I would like to hear what you think of it after a few outings....what kind of boat did you have before?WaRe wrote:Hi guys, thought I would say hello. Hi, no she does not outfish me, however the first fish she ever caught was a pike about 20inches or so last year. Ever since she loves to fish.wolfe wrote:Congrat's and best of times with the new boat -- and welcome to Fish-Hawk.It's always nice to see a guy and his girl fishing together!
