pike fishing near ottawa

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

But you will have to wait until the season is open.

Like others have said The Ottawa river's back bays should have pike and Constance lake has some also.

Mississippi lake offers some good #'s hammer handle fishing. So does Silver and White lake all close to Ottawa...easten Ontario has pike in almost every body of water.

The Mussio Ventures Fishing Ontario fishing guide will help you choose which lake you might want to target.

It can be bought at local gas stations

I personally don't target pike on waters that hold Muskie until after Muskie season has opened.....that way I don't disturb the muskie spawn....

How about water that holds bass???Isn't it the same issue??

If fish that is not in season bite all you do is release it and move to another area.
