It's Started-----> The Poachers are Out

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

and there lies the truth......unless there is more to the story than you are telling us what you saw are 2 guys in a boat that had rods and a net and they were far enough away that you needed high powered binoculars to see them.

and the issue seems to have angered you sufficiently that you were not even prepared to, knowing full well without a showdow of doubt that they were poaching, walk down to the lane to get the licence number of the tow vehicle.

Clearly you could see that they were poaching, and with your binoculars you could clearly not see the registration on the boat so in order to identify them you needed to go check out the tow vehicle......good thing for those guys it was feeding time at the TMH household I guess

Since I got my blackberry I don't read the paper anymore while sitting on the procelain. I read fish-hawk. What a great read to accompany my Sunday morning crunch. Thanks for the entertainment. Keep it up.

I am the official spokesperson in the investigation that claims there is poaching on Constance Bay.

Low light conditons and BBQ'd chicken are factors in this incident.

Due to the fragile nature of the investigation, we find it premature and speculative in nature to comment at the present time

Here is something I caught while trolling a slow death hook and worm last summer on opening weekend for walleyes.

I have caught lots of crappie trolling. But do you really need a big net trolling for them? Anyway who knows for sure what they were doing? They probably were fishing for whatever bit but with out proof it is fruitless. Speaking of fruit, Luke try some prunes  Now that was funny, nothing like a big crunch to get the day started.

I fish for multi-species and my big muskie net is always in the boat (that's where I store it). Sure hope I don't run into any of you extremists out there that knows everyone is poaching.

I can remember fishing with a few of my muskie friends and they always were speculating on whether someone was poaching or not. One time my partner for the day was complaining vehemently and getting himself all worked up about another boat that had two rods out. We trolled closer to the other boat and the guy had a spare rod sticking up in the air (but with no line out). My partner had a sheepish look on his face after that.

I even shared a boat with a muskie angler once who was timing how long anglers in other boats had there fish out of the water!!!

You guys get yourselve's all worked up about what someone else is doing. Give it a rest.
