Who's going where for the opener??

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Best of luck Peter :) My pike and walleye season begins on the 15th so it's going to be another weekend of specs coming up. I have been preping since January

Be sure to let us know how you did and snap a few pictures as well.

I was also thinking of hittin up clayton Saturday afternoon...then the Rideau river on Sunday morning

I have always fished Clayton later in the season for bass ( and walleye, all just under the slot size  ) I have however caught the odd small Pike there but have not spent much time targeting them. I was thinking of giving it a shot this spring while the pike bite is on. so how is the spring pike bite on Clayton? is it more of a numbers or size lake?

If I go we'll two guys in a green/grey 14ft with a johnson...come over and say hi, always nice to meet a new FH'er (well almost always  )
