Petrie

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I have fished that 4 times so far this season. Water level is still a bit high, therefore better for your propeller. Pretty much everything is hitting right now, specially the pike. Since the weeds are getting pretty thick, I mostly use a spinner bait (chartreuse or white, tipped with a red plastic worm. The other thing that work really well is a tube jig, smoke or pumpkin seed color.

Anywasy good luck, and I myself will be there on sunday morning, let you know how everything goes.

Ha Buck,

I knew you would sign up one of these days, I was just hoping no one would take your nick. Good luck on sunday and call ,me to tell me how it went.

As for petrie, as Buck said, the weeds are starting to show up and the pike fishing is pretty good. Some of the bays are just loaded with gar pike also but didn't spend to much time trying to figure out how to nail them.
