Walleye opener on the Ottawa

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Any girls in the area you could chase instead of those boring walleyes?...

RJ
   Boring? We were catching them like crappies. The only girls I will be chasing up there will be for those fat speckled trout this weekend in between the search for bigger walleyes Rob.

Bahahaha, just made my day Jamsers :D

Enough of that, are you coming out fishing up this way soon? Laker bite has been tuff and the speckles deserve another couple goes. If nothing is biting in the morning we can always go for boring walleyes too. Let me know, I have had a few people bail lately which was great because...more fish for us.

sorry bout bailing out, Lindsay is kinda far from your cottage.

i'm back this coming weekend, but it's to take care of Biscuit while my parents and the rest of the Family are gone to the states for a bit of shopping.

you in orleans this weekend, or up at the cottage.?? caught some nice pike from Petrie this past weekend. right from shore. Nodie know's what spot i'm talking about.... :)

anyways great report as always.

haven't had a good Lindsay bite since i got here, just those couple walleye in the first week.

thinking of renting a boat on Sturgeon lake in the next few weeks,,,,,,

Matt, you didn't bail. You had school and I was aware of that. Good job on those Petrie pike, Nodie was telling me he also did very well in a certain spot this year...For walleyes though

I have no doubts that you will do a # on those Linsday fish in weeks to come.
