Ever get that Sinking Feeling !!!!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ever get that Sinking Feeling !!!!!!!

Post by Bass Addict »

I did last night....

Decided to launch the boat at McLaurin Bay ,, Somebody ( 24/7 ) forgot to tell me there was a sinkhole at the launch .

Here's the result.

Floor behind the drivers seat

When I got home I phoned 24/7 to come over and vaccuum thw water out

Image

I guess while the trunk was open at the bay a Snapping Turtle must have swam in for a ride ..

Image

This morning I thought I would bring along Bass Hunter instead of 24/7 for the Muskie outing..

'' MISTAKE ''

I now know those l '' energy '' drinks are a waste of money

I did catch a Muskie on a BuzzBait.....14'' long  :? :? :?

Sink Hole?

Post by Bait&Fate »

Okay ... just asking the question ... What's a "Sinkhole"? An area of a launch which excedes the water / ground clearance of an urban rated "Puddle Jumper"??? All jest aside ... I trust your vehicle didn't sustain any damage.

Ummm that's not good...

Leaves more questions than answers...
Were you alone or with 24/7?
Was the car stuck in the sink-hole?
Cause if it wasn't stuck, why did you get out while sitting in the water? Did 24/7 not take the boat off the trailer for ya?

I would have had the pedal to the metal... in FWD gear!!!

Hope that you can get all the water out of the interior...

It can go thru the snow and slush in MCBay, but not there. Hope you get it all cleaned up.

But it definetly is 24/7's fault. He's a plumber he should have fixed your car so it wouldn't leak :D :D
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

Yep,,,

Had to get the sunfire towed out

Later on I was talking to 24/7 and he say's Oh yeah I could have told you the launch is a mudhole this year.... :x :x

As for Pedal to the metal.........as soon as I took my foot off the brake the wheels were just free spinning in the chocolate milk

Nice new boat Paul..how does she plane?? Top speed is about what?? Nice and roomy though with some nice storage spots for the gear. The rear casting deck looks a bit dangerous though. What do you tow it with??

Almost did that three years ago at my cottage ramp  ...But I didn't
