Taylor Park boat Launch??

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

It's a 5.00 launch and a 40.00 season pass plus it's good for other launches in the area

Are you sure you are not getting sucked in to some voluntary pay scheme or something by the RVCA. I have lived near there and launched there for years and never had to pay or heard anything. I have not been in the last year or so.

Here is the paragraph from their web-site:

Day Pass
Load up you car! Day passes cost $5 per vehicle or for best value, get our Conservation Areas Annual Pass. For $40, this pass gives you unlimited access to all the Conservation Areas in the Rideau Valley.

and the link for Taylor Park:

Taylor Park is at the end of Osgoode Main street. It is run and looked after by the Rideau Valley Conservation, they charge $5.00 to launch and $40.00 for a season pass and it is good for all conservation launch sites.

I've been going there for 5 years now and they've always had a box there for fees.

As Wallyboss said there is a box. There is also a big sign stating the fees. Lastly, if you go there on the weekend during the summer, they will have someone there collecting.
