I got skunked. :cry:

Left the Masson launch at about 5am and headed right for the Rockland area. I was using my Buzzers, Spinners and some cranks.

NADA!!

My buddy was using MY top waters... and hooked into this at 6:55am after a 6 lb pike.

Measured it at 48 and a half inches. We did not have an appropriate measuring tape to get the girth...

That is one happy Portuguese SOB! He got him near a point in a shallow weed bed that was no deeper than 3 feet.

Successful release of a thing of beauty... kicked HARD for a third time after a nice 5 minute tail pumping to get 'er going back to producing some young'ins!
