going to lake batiste near bancroft can anyone help me with tips and spots to fish the lake, im going in september. any hot spots and what can i expect. thanks

Good luck with this one! I doubt you'll get any kind of helpful response, but it never hurts to try.
I've fished that area (Pine Lake) about 10 years ago and all I can remember about it was a lot of big small mounth that loved crayfish. I've heard that Bancroft has a lot of hot spots so please feel free to share your experiences as I am looking to head up that way for a weekend in late September as well.
I think that a lot of the lakes in that area are deep and rocky. Have you tried to search for a nav map of the lake yet? You can map out different depths to try prior to your trip. In doing so you won't be wasting too much time covering "the same" water.
