Saturday started off a '' Little '' foggy...

Kevin started off working the drop offs with a Gulp 5'' black sinking minnow and within minutes hooks into nice 2.8lb keeper ...of the wrong species...

After the first ( weigh in ) at noon we realized we had some serious work ahead of us

If seeing a 5.5 lb 5.8 lb wasn't shocking enough.....We see a Dude lay down a 6lb 10oz ( Six Pound - Ten Ounce ) Baby Hippo on to the scales.... 8) :D :D

5.5 lb

6lb 10 oz ... I think kevin has a better pic

Here's a pic of 7 loons together. 8)

One just went under water when i snapped the pic

The winning weight for a two day (3 weigh-ins) was 40 lbs

We finnished in 5th place with 32lbs 4ozs

Just a Friendly reminder its $ 5.00 to park on the grounds. Free if you only want to launch your boat.

Yep I was in Paugan dam Saturday morning and it was foggy out on the water...had to use the gps to get around for a while...that is a cool thing when you rely only on the gps with fog all around :D

6.10!!! that is some bass!! Might be doing a fishing show with Pete in two weeks up there.....that would look good on cam!

Good job on your fifth place by the way!

I was at Paugan as well... but I was up late and did not get there until about 11am. No fog, but as usual this year, lots of wind.

I will try and upload some pics and a report... I am on dialup until I instal my radio tower for high speed!

Congrats on the 5th lace finnish! What did it cost to get in ad what was the pay-out structure?

Congrats on your 5th place finished :) . That 6lbs 10 is shure a nice bass. I was on lake St Marie 2 weekends ago and I managed to catch 2 largie right from the town launch. Its shure a very nice lake to fish and to do in the futur again.

befor seeing a 6.10 lbs bass.

i was so UNAWARE.

Now i know.

1. No one i know ever caught a fish that size. (exepte for wayne)

2. no one on this site ever caught a fish that size.

3. i will never get a fish that size.

4. i dont know how to fish bass.

for all the people who claim that they catch 7 + bass.

and that they get them often.

WAKE UP AND STOP LYING!

Why is it that everybody has to lie when it comes to fishing??????

Now with this said.

im going into the hospital to get my head checked.

i think i might need some psychiatric help.

That bass DiDNT MAKE SENSE!

a 6.10 lbs bass was double the size of the 6.3 i saw in the rockland rumble.

then your going to tell me you catch 7 + regularly.

HANG YOU HEAD IN SHAME!

6.10 lbs and this one is NOT a lie!

!

If you never caught a bass in your life and you tell someone you caught a couple of 6lbers,,,,,,,,,then you would be lying

If you catch a 3lb bass and you say it was 5lb..........That would be called exaggerating..... :) :) :)

Your right, 6. 10 does not make any sens what so ever.......Did you guys mesure it? And what technique did he use? Let me guess, gulp? I'm thinking we'll be bassin' at st-marie for a while.....there is no doubt in my mind the 7 pounder we are searching for is in this lake.....Any bass that you can divide their weight in half and you get the weight of a tourney winner is insane.

MUSKY THIS WEEK END?

Settle down there Ace...

I truly don't think people lie....I think when someone gets a 4 pounder...they truly think it's a 5.....they just haven't seen a 5 to "know" what it is......and in reality.....4 pounders are nice fish too....I never scoff at em...

RJ

P.S. That is a nice fish!
