4TH Annual Mr.J. Toothy Critter Derby

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Just a quick note

First I would like let everyone know that these Fish-Hawk partners have stepped up an offered up some prizes...Mikey's tackle box and Bits and Baits....and there is some talk with a couple of other Fish-Hawk partners...please support these events sponsors

Second

I met with another fish-hawker today at the launch today and he said he wasn't coming to this event because it sounds too serious

Obviously I haven't done my job if someone thinks that

This is a fun derby and a chance to get out of the house and share a story or two with other anglers and maybe get yourself a little trophy (I will be checking them more carefully this year  )

REMINDER

The rules clearly state that anyone taking this too seriously must buy the first 2 rounds at the get together and it looks like another good crowd so it'll be expensive.

I will be attending with my nephew Nicklaus and his grandfather Dell.
Both caught there first muskies this year and have the bug bad.

It seems most everyone has team names, so, you can call us The Rookies.

If anyone is looking to do a musky outing double header on the weekend of the Toothy Critter, there is a terrific community oriented event in Fitzroy Harbour called the Woodridge Musky Classic. It is on the 12th and I believe it is their 5th year. I attended the event and the barby with over 100 people last year. The organizer is Robert McClehahan and he can be reached at robertmcclenahan549@hotmail.com

I am looking forward to hoisting a pint with all of you after at Broadway's and maybe even a musky!
