Anterless Deer Tag Results

Post by jighead94 »

Just got my Tag in the Mail today from the MNR, Did not get an Anterless Tag for 64B (West Carleton), this is the first time in 15 years I have not got one  . My Dad also did not receive one  . The MNR must be cutting back this year, after all the deer moved from the country into Kanata.
Has anybody else received their anterless tag?
If you are not working this wknd enjoy the fishing.

This topic being talked about in the Hunting forum as well...

My brother and I both did not receive antlerless tags this year in 65...first time Ive applied and not gotten one...kind of a bummer as I would rather shoot a doe than a young buck....

The MNR must have really cut back...I guess giving 5-6 tags a person a few years back did what they wanted it to...cut the deer numbers to a more manageable size...

I was successful in 64A, but have heard of a lot of guys not getting their antlerless, when the draws were usually 100% successful.

The MNR is definitely cutting back. Our unit is down to a quarter additional tags available this year compared to 2 years ago. I was not lucky enough to get through their brutal phone system for an additional. :?

Oh well, at the very least i got a doe/buck tag. :)
