This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

My son and I have been launching at Grasshopper point and was surprised to read that some locals have issues with launching here. Not to sound paranoid but from now on I will carry a tire pump in the vehicle.

Fishing has been great!

Have you seen the mechanism on that locking pin? I bought 2 @ princess auto, the 5/8" ones. After I forgot my key, I found out how bad they are.
All it takes is a flat screwdriver and you can snap the ends off those.

I got a master lock brand one from Can Tire, paid like 6 times the price of princess, and its much better.

Agree...not the best quality. More of a deterrent.

If your hitch remains on all year or most of the summer ,,remove lock pin and install a 9/16 th grade 8 bolt with a lock nut ,not the nylon ones the steel ones....= theft and tamper proof... 8)

You got that right. Last time I launched at grasshopper point some old lady walking on the road (opposite side from me) screamed through my window "SLOW DOWN!!!!". I looked at my speedometer and it said 40km/h. If that isn't too fast for a school zone I don't know how she thinks I was going to fast for that road.
