Long weekend fishing....or not?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Long weekend fishing....or not?

Post by slop »

Summer has finally arrived for the labour day weekend...sorta.The weather looks to be quite stable. Whatcha doing?...shopping for last minute back-to-school specials for the kiddies?...hitting Chapters for a favorite book and beverage.... Shutting down the cottage from the summer that never was?......OR FISHIN'!!!!!

I'm on the water early tomorrow for a half day...maybe some Chinese take-out later while getting organized for a full on assault into Quebec for 3 days of exploration.....hope to catch a fish or two

What say you?

The next two days will see me at my hidden little "big bass" lake...conditions look prime for putting a piggy or two in the boat.

Definitely need to get this skunk off my back...

Good luck to all this weekend...

Good to hear, RJ... :o

Tim and I can only put in half a day tomorrow, but we'll be doing a good 12 hours on Saturday. Should be able to put a decent pattern together in that time...would be nice to break the 6 marker this year.

Good luck with the pre-fishing. Rooting for ya, bud!

Holy talky-talkerton....musta been into the vodka last night.......

My summer fishing has pretty much been non existant. Was out for bass with a hawk-talker yesterday, might get out for lakers with another hawker tomorrow.

If all plans fall through, I'll maybe check out some flooring at home depot, or maybe a nice day with the "w" at bed bath and beyond. Hard to say really. All depends on time.
The main task of the weekend is to put a new rad in the car. How very exiciting.
