RUMBLE in Rockland 2009!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

It's not hurting fish-hawk at all.

Fish-hawk is benefiting from people laughing at you and your videos. It's drawing traffic to fish-hawk.

If your not ready for the "big-leagues" yet, try the "Bassin for bucks" tournament on Mississippi. Weigh-in is actually optional, so you have 8 chances to weigh-in. You won't be bashed at this derby if you don't weigh in.

Out of curiosity, who are your "partners".

i'm going to have to take you to task on that pretentious comment RJ....after all this guy "owns and founded" an angling website that is so famous it must regularly crash due to the hit volume......can't be any other way to explain why FH needs to be used to advertise and publish the results of the tourney he owns.
Glad I'm not the only one who saw that Mick....without FH....there was no Rumble.....

Maybe a thank you to Bobber from the "founder" would be nice...and maybe a little less promotion of his site would be more respectful.....

RJ

P.S. Still leaving 444 alone..... You guys have it covered...

Wow!

Bigger boils in here than in MacBay all day Saturday!!!

Not certain what can be said.

This was my first tournament ever and I had fun. I am disappointed I did not see the weigh ins nor did I get to check my raffle tickets. ... but I did have a good time meeting some of you.

I am not certain what was wrong with the video, but just to assure you all: there was no drinking or doping or what ever. I am not into that. (18 years no booze nor drugs for me...). Those fish in the video were all caught that day. (I think Yan took it down...) One of the bass was looking a little worse for the wear... they all made it away under their own steam There was only one out of the five in the well that I was worried that it might not make it. He had his live well pumping water the whole time.

Yan is a hell of a nice guy and I did have a good time. We would have done quite well in a pike tournament but the bass were late coming. If it were up to me we would have gone to the weigh in, (If for nothing else to see if my raffle tickets won!!) but the captain of the boat makes the rules, and I abide by them. I am not certain what his reasons for not going to the weigh in were, but I will back him up on his decision even if I don't agree with it.

It was great meeting you all and I hope I get to fish this thing again.

Just so you all know; I would have shown up with one 2lbr for the weigh in to see if I could get a "Cute Fish" of the day prize!!

Thanks for the fun day Yan.

Cprince, man you need to choose your fishing partners wisely. They can drag you down pretty quick and then you have to scramble excuses.

Those bass were out of the water 3 mins...way too long, should be out more then a few seconds.

He has issues he needs to deal with and I don't think he still gets it now...

Hey, Bass-Bird Addict...! As a proudbearer of the X chromosome and a competent fisher, I resent that remark!

(But I also love bird watching.)

With regard to the comments here, I gotta say, nothing pi$$es me off more than a fish waved about while a big, drawn out dialogue is going on. C'mon, the fish is already exhausted and stressed from the landing. BB444, you can really catch big fish. No argument there. But I thought you had been (self proclaimed) humbled by the whole stringer blow up in year's past and were practicing some better ethics towards conservation.

RJ, you are cracking me up today. Thanks for the laughs.
