It's at the WEST end of old Wellington adjacent to the fair grounds. u can launch at the east end but there's no parking. see lower left of photo. Cheers and good luck in the derby.

U can launch behind the arena. Lots of parking there. Then follow the creek out to the RA Launch. Just becarefull, very shallow in spots.

Man we just painted the middle school in kars and I never took my boat down. We were there all of August too. I just was too busy guiding on the O and the trips I did make there was to work.

Best of luck to everyone I'll be working on the O, I guess there will be less pressure for a change.

Andy...see first post on page 1..."WHERE"---"launch at RA"....come in on #6 Roger Stevens Dr to the stop sign at Rideau Valley DR S.(Kars main street). Go south on R.V.D. till you come to the boat launch signs, then right (west) onto Old Wellington, and into the fair(RA) grounds. As you drive in look over to your left (south) and you'll see all the trailers/boats/vehicles over by the launch. That is where MR J is supposed to meet everyone.

Just so we are clear

You Can Launch Anywhere You Want

I choose to meet at the RA launch because it is the biggest

I will be launching from Taylor Park

If my companions are on time I'll be at the launch around 6:30 but in the 3 past years is been closer to 6:45 or 6:55 if I have to ask for a lift out to go get my boat

Again, if we don't meet up at the launch get your tickets from me on the water or at the festivities at Broadways

Taylor park is about a 1/2 KM south of the RA launch

No riddles

Why is everyone confused about this?

MEETING POINT IS RA LAUNCH

And I'll be there until 7 or so selling tickets
