well its -18 right now in the bay
how much longer do you think buchums or hourse shoe bay will take to have safe ice?

I would give it at least a month... for Horseshoe I would say ... follow someone else don't be the first to go.

wit the temp we did get into for the past 3 days and next five..those night are pretty cold.
they will be some safe ice in a lot off area.
those not meen to be not carefull..but we will have more place to go try are tip ups.(5/qc)

I Curious is their really 5 inches of ice on Buckhams bay like you stated. Also how many inches of ice is there on crappy bay in Petrie island. Thanks for the reply in advance

Hey Chevy....It's not a good practice to post ice thickness that you "heard rumours" about....people actually read these posts and might walk out on Bucham's feeling that they are safe because there's 5" of ice that you first reported....

yep 5 inch in one area mabe 1/2 in in onother..
NO ONE can confurm ice thicness all over there to many thing that can contribute to less ice in some area.
the best ask by pm. the a guy that did go could say some hints.

speedboat peope have been fishing crappy bay for at least 7 days if not more. now.
just go where all those blue tents village are.
but still be carefull...there is a lot off hole in that area..

theres already a shack on buchums and we drilled a hole in horseshoe and theres 4.5 inches i cant wait
