Which Lake?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

If I were so inclined to go on a monster pike quest. I'd be leaving the boat at home. It is my humble opinion that a well reserched fly-in trip would be your best bet at a 15lb plus fish. I would start looking at northern Manitoba.
I'll not deny northwest ontario has some big pike that you can drive too, but that is a very, very long trip pulling a boat.

Do you live close to the Susquehanna?

Trying to keep it within 10 hours of PA not 24. We wont be targetting smallmouths so thats not a problem.
