Fishing the Ottawa
Fishing the Ottawa
Im soon going to fish the Ottawa River (near Mattawa) for the first time and was wondering if anyone can offer any help. Will be fishing in early Sept. looking to catch Walleye, Bass, Pike and of course Muskie. I could use some help with lure/bait selection and any ideas on where to go will be greatly appreciated. By the way, I will be fishing from a boat. Thanks

Try the swisha!
Try the swisha dam! Try down rigging in about 25 to 35 ft with rippling red fins "blue and silver or black and gold" My buddy and i hammered them. He caught a 11 lbs 7 oz monster and she is still swimming today......tight lines......Mike
Muskie in the Ottawa
